- A stated free limit: 25 active guides on the free plan. Scribe's pricing page doesn't list a number for Basic.

For one person, Pro Personal is $8.41 a month billed annually ($10.25 monthly), against $25 ($35) on Scribe Pro Personal. For a team of 5, Pro Team is $29.73 a month billed annually ($36.25 monthly), against $115 ($145) on Pro Team. Pro Team starts at 5 seats, owner included, and Scribe Pro Team starts at 5 too. Scribe's free plan shares by link, and MariaGuides Free does not.
Which should you pick?
Pick Scribe if you want Guide Me and link sharing without paying, need to capture desktop apps, or need a vendor with a SOC 2 Type II audit.
Pick MariaGuides if you want PDF and Markdown exports on the free plan, a free limit you can plan around, and a lower price once you pay.
